ELECTRONICS

Electronics Recycling is important for two reasons: First, there are many components in computers, T.V.s, tablets and phones that are harmful to the environment and must be processed in particular ways outside of the regular recycling stream. And secondly, many components can be re-used and thus are considered sustainable, which means that their life-cycle can be extended through recycling, causing less waste over time.

Electronics should not go in your curbside bin, but instead, are recyclable at the Residential Drop-off at the New Haven Transfer Station by citizens who present a driver’s license (or other picture I.D.) with a New Haven address.
